Waiting List Areas in Zone A

From May 1 2024 a maximum number of resident parking permits is enforced in the city centre. For this purpose, Zone A has been divided into four waiting list areas. When the maximum number of parking permits in a waiting list area is reached, subsequent applications for a resident parking permit are placed on the waiting list.  

The map shows the waiting list areas in Zone A. Enter your address to see which waiting list area you live in or will be moving to.

How does it work?

Are you applying for a parking permit in Zone A? And has the maximum number of issues parking permits in your area been reached? Then we will place you on the waiting list. We will notify you by email when it’s your turn to apply. After that, you have six weeks to complete your application. If you do not complete your application within this period, we will cancel your request.

Your application will be placed at the bottom of the waiting list.

To see your position on the waiting list, you can log in at the e-parking counter. Click on the application number under ‘Aanvragen’ in the product overview.  You will get to see the details of your application. Choose ‘Wachtlijst’ and you will see your position on the waiting list under ‘Positie’. The first number is your position. The second number indicates how many applications are on the waiting list.

Yes, your previous application will automatically stop. You can apply for a new resident parking permit through the e-parking counter.

No, your partner cannot take over your permit. This person must apply for a parking permit themselves.

If your partner passes away and you lived together at the address in Zone A, then you can take over the parking permit or the spot on the waiting list. If you are also on the waiting list, your position is maintained. Please contact the municipality at 14 071 in this case.

No, the waiting list is only for resident parking permits and the shared car parking permit in Zone A.
