Residents parking permit zone A

Do you live in an area with paid parking? Then you can apply for a residents parking permit. This residents parking permit is linked to the vehicle registration number of your car, motorcycle or motorised quadricycle.

Zone A (center)

The centre of Leiden, between the canals, is zone A:

  • Almost all parking spaces are permit holder spaces. There is 24/7 paid parking here.
  • There are short-term parking locations in a number of places in the center (maximum 2 hours of parking). Paid parking applies here:
    • Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
    • Sunday from 13:00 to 21:00.

  • At the address you are registered, a maximum amount of parking permits has not been issued yet. In zone A a maximum of 1 permit applies.
