Parking permit for employees
Is your business located in an area with paid parking? Apply for an employee parking permit for your employees or for yourself (also if you are an independent contractor). You will receive a parking permit for a car park or for a particular area of the city close to your business.
Your business (it may also be a branch office) must be located in Zone A or Zone B of the city’s paid parking area. Check the map to find out in which zone your business is in or look for your street in the list of streets (pdf, 6,95 mb). The municipality of Leiden will check the address at which your company is registered at the Chamber of Commerce.
Based on your company address, the municipality will determine whether you are entitled to an employee parking permit. You will receive an employee parking permit that entitles your employees to park in a particular car park or in a particular area. On the map (pdf, 1,48 mb), you can see the areas (inside the blue lines) and the car parks (red). Have you been granted an employee parking permit? You will then be told in which car park or in which area you may park.
An employee parking permit is valid:
- in areas and car parks in Zone A: from Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.
- in areas and car parks in Zone B: from Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.
If you park in a parking area, you may not park in autodate parking spaces.
