Applying for a waste or container card
A container card (waste card) enables you to use the underground waste container. Do you not have a container card? Or is your container card not working? Apply for a new card.
The container card gives you access to a maximum of 2 underground containers. These are the 2 containers that are closest to your house. Do you want to use a different underground container? Call +31 71 5 16 51 65. Your container card will be linked to the underground container of your choice free of charge.
Leave the container card behind when you move. If you have moved in and the previous resident did not leave the card in the house, you can request a new pass for free.
If your card does not work and is not damaged, please contact the municipality by calling 14 071.
Terms
- You can request 1 container card per household. You cannot request extra cards, even if you pay. If more than 4 people live at one address who do not form one household (like in a student house) you can request an extra container card. For example: if 16 students live in one house, a maximum of 4 container cards can be requested.
- Make sure the container pass is kept in a place where every resident can use it.

Costs
Is your container card lost or broken? A new card costs € 12,15.
If you request a replacement card, your old card will be blocked. You will not get a refund if you find your old card.
How long does it take?
We will send you the new card within 4 working days.
