14/3/2020 Emergency order
None of the municipalities in the region Hollands Midden allow gatherings of more than 100 persons at one location at the same time. This applies to all locations with the exception of schools and public transport stations. These rules are laid down in an emergency order adopted by the president of the Safety Region Hollands Midden (Veiligheidsregio Hollands Midden), the mayor of Leiden, Henri Lenferink. The emergency order takes effect at 8.00pm on Saturday, 14 March and will remain in effect until 31 March 2020.
The measure that no more than 100 persons may gather together in one location at the same time does not apply to primary schools, secondary schools or secondary vocational schools, children’s day care, or locations and buildings for public transport or for public healthcare. The Safety Region’s president may issue further decisions to exempt other groups, locations and activities from the prohibition.
